Hello and welcome to our school and our website.
Our school, on its present site was opened in 1987. It replaced the old village school situated on the outskirts of the village, which had served the children of Narborough and Narford for 117 years.
When first built it had three classrooms, a multi purpose hall, a canteen, store rooms, a large playground together with an extensive playing field with a conservation area in the corner. An extension was then completed in September 1996 consisting of a library, head’s study and an extended staffroom. When we became a Primary School the LEA provided us with three new purpose built classrooms whilst retaining two of the existing classrooms. The hall was enlarged along with a library and resources room. The additional building works were completed by September 2006.
Children from Narborough, Pentney,West Bilney, Beachamwell and Barton Bendish attend the school from the age of 4. From Narborough School the children transfer to Hamond’s High School in Swaffham at the age of 11.
