We have had a super busy week again, however, not as busy as our Year 6s and so we have had to be extra-quiet all week to help their concentration ... luckily Badgers are stealth animals!
In our Maths learning we have been looking at different methods of measurement, and exploring how there are similarities between these - including length, time, capacity, weight and area.
English has been focussing on how we are able to make inferences about a performance based on the setting and scenery used - we then made predictions and thought about how the scenery can change how a story unfolds. We used this to helps us to then create our own scenery for the play scripts we have been writing for our performances to Hedgehog class next week!
In science we were asking questions about and hypothesising our responses to the question: Why is colour important to animals? We were able to come up with lots of fantastic ideas and shared some great questions to show our scientific understanding about the world around us.
