Spellings: Rule 23:cial or tial?
Using the same video from yesterday to remind yourself of the spelling rule, practise the next 10 words from the lists. Can you explain how the rule works to someone in your family?
Continue to read your book for this week. Read to an adult, a sibling, a pet or even your favourite toy! Then, complete the reading task for day 2 - pick three characters and discuss what they are like. Use evidence from the text to back up your answer.
Today you will plan your letter that will be sent out to a person with your dream job. Watch Miss George's video explaining how to fill out your plan here:
Then, complete your own plan. There is a word document at the bottom that you can print out or you can plan it without on some paper.
Encourage pupils to practise their times tables by clicking on the link below. This will give 10 questions based around recall of the times tables facts.

- At the top of the page, you should see 3 ‘choose’ tabs
- 1st tab: Choose level 4 (year 4) or level 5 (year 5)
- 2nd tab: Multiplication, Choose mixed tables up to x12
- Then you should see a range of question intervals at the bottom of the page…can you try a quicker challenge?
- Upload your score to dojo to let your teacher know how you got on.
You could also try selecting division to practice using your knowledge of times tables to solve related division questions.
