Maternity Cover Class Teacher ~ Reception/Year 1

Sporle Church of England Primary Academy

We are looking for highly motivated, positive and enthusiastic individual to be Class Teacher for our Reception / Year 1 class (23 children) at Sporle Church of England Primary Academy to cover a maternity leave from April to July 2023 ~ ability to commence the role in March would be ideal. 

Sporle is part of The Nar Valley Federation of Church Academies, a family of three small Church of England primary schools and part of DNEAT (Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust). 

Sporle is a village school located a few miles outside of the town of Swaffham.  We have 3 mixed-age classes with just over 70 pupils on roll. Being church schools, Christian values and ethos sit at the heart of everything we do to create an environment where everyone is valued and respected and pupils are given every opportunity to shine

The role will be supported and challenged by the Executive Head Teacher and Head of School to create the best possible learning environment that allows children to be the best that they can be and to ‘Let their light shine’.

The position is:

  • Maternity cover contract ~ Summer term April to July 2023
  • From 1st April 2023 (or sooner if possible)
  • Full time
  • Salary MPS
  • Role is based at Sporle, but may require travel between all three sites.

Teaching Assistant; Narborough Church of England Primary Academy

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Narborough Church of England Primary Academy from December 2022 or sooner if possible.

The Nar Valley Federation of Church Academies are a family of three small Church of England primary schools and part of DNEAT (Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust).  Our three schools at Narborough, Castle Acre and Sporle are located a few miles outside of the market town of Swaffham.  Being church schools, Christian values and ethos sit at the heart of everything we do to create an environment where everyone is valued and respected and pupils are given every opportunity to shine.

The successful candidate will be based in the Year 5/6 class for the majority of the week but also supporting the Year 4 Class.  The role will also provide class cover opportunities for the candidate, to operate at Higher Level Teaching Assistant level within the school.

The position is:

  • Part time 32.5 hours per week, term time + 1 week
  • Salary Scale C
  • Permanent
  • From December 2022 or sooner if possible
  • Based at Narborough but travel is required between all 3 sites for meetings at times and you may be asked in the future to work at one of the other sites.
